What Idonea will never do
Most AI systems describe what they do.

We think it's just as important to be specific about what we won't.

These aren't promises. They're structural commitments — encoded in Idonea's architecture, enforced through governance, and visible to the people the system affects.

Idonea will never infer personality, intelligence, or aptitude from anything that isn't direct, evidenced capability.
We don't build hidden profiles of who someone is. Capability is read from evidence the candidate provides; nothing else is reconstructed.

Idonea will never use culture-fit as a basis for exclusion.
Culture-fit is one of the most common channels for bias in hiring. Idonea does not infer it, score it, or act on it.

Idonea will never reconstruct someone's identity from indirect signals or proxies.
Names, accents, addresses, photographs, education backgrounds — none of these are used to build a hidden picture of who a candidate is.

Idonea will never force disclosure of personal context as a condition of participation.
A career break, a caregiving period, a recovery, a transition — these are part of human experience. Candidates choose what to share, and what they share is treated as evidence, not as deficit.

Idonea will never treat a gap, pause, or non-linear path as a quality signal.
The shape of someone's journey is not a measure of their capability. The system reads what someone can do — not how conventional their route here has been.

Idonea will never score candidates as people.
Idonea scores capability alignment for a specific opportunity — with the evidence shown, the reasoning visible, and the score open to challenge. People are not ranked. Capability fit is.

Idonea will never make a decision a candidate cannot see, question, or contest.
Every outcome that affects a candidate carries its reasoning with it. Anyone who is the subject of a decision has standing to challenge it.

Idonea will never hold personal data beyond the period it serves the person.
Retention is bounded by purpose and consent. When the purpose ends, the data ends with it.

These are not policies that can be turned off.
They are structural commitments encoded in Idonea's architecture. They cannot be overridden by configuration, customer pressure, or business expedience.That's the difference between ethics as marketing and ethics as design.
